Barry, Broadcast’s owner and roaster, grew up with a radio DJ for a Dad: he learned early in life that a true artist knows how to give the people what they want. Request Line Blend was created, by popular request, for Seattle cafe customers who wanted a rich and toasty dark roast they could really groove to. DJ, brew it up!

This particular blend of Brazil and Colombia goes together like a great musical duo: smooth and edgy, with flavors that stay clean. While brewing, you can smell notes of black cherry. In the brew, we taste the malt-like complexity of dark stout beer with a backbone of rich dark cocoa, and a nice herbal acidity in the finish. As the cup cools, a hint of smoky sea salt brings it all together in a distinctly "Seattle" way: a small touch of the gourmet.

As energizing as a morning playlist, as relaxing as an evening standard, we think this blend belongs in the hit parade of anyone who appreciates a smooth dark blend with soul. We know as soon as you share it with your own kitchen audience, the refill requests will come rolling in. Don’t let the beat drop...
