The name connects with our desire to approach coffee and live life fully present, always sentient, with attentive eyes, seeking wonder, seeking vitality in the engagement with our partners that set the ground for ongoing mutually beneficial #rootedreverberations .
The name is a reference to this line in the beginning of Michael Ondaatje’s book The English Patient. “I have spent weeks in the desert, forgetting to look at the moon, he says, as a married man may spend days never looking into the face of his wife. These are not sins of omission but signs of preoccupation.”
