In 2018 Diego, being 20 years old at the time, took on the challenge of operating the farm, Finca el Rincón, located at vereda el encanto, Santa María. From the very beginning, he focused on producing specialty coffees, growing new varieties, and performing exotic processes. Nowadays, Diego Horta is recognized as a young leader that advocates for the generational continuation of coffee growing in Huila and is a producer of amazing differentiated profiles.\r\n\r\nThis lot underwent two days of fermentation with the skin and fruit in tact. Afterwards, de-puling was performed, leaving the rich mucilage layer fully intact (as opposed to removing all of the mucilage and fruit for a \"fully washed\" process).
